draw me a picture
This book follows hot on the heels of 'What Would You Be?' - it is different, in so much as this is a collection of poetry, with illustrations by various artists aged between 3 and 10 years of age, the pictures are the children's own interpretation of the poem, and they are just wonderful!
What Would You Be?
This is the title of one of my new childrens books. I love this book! This is my first attempt at a children's book, and the feedback so far has been very positive, both from people both Michele and I have spoken to, so that is very encouraging.
What Would You Be? - is basically asking the question of children, that if they were a kind of animal, what would they be? Or are they perfectly happy being themselves? Illustrated by Michele Holcomb, the wonderful vibrant watercolors truly compliment, and bring alive the poem/story.
Imagination plays such a huge part in all childrens lives, it allows them to escape to a completely different world, and allows them to be anything that they want to be, but most of all, to be children, as they are supposed to be!
